About me

I was born in Vevey on 29.06.1978 in Switzerland and since I’m a child, I dream about travel, adventure and lost, remote scenery in distant lands.
But Life often takes over and faster than we thought; I became a banker, after having done an apprenticeship in the Credit Suisse. But I decided to fly for new horizons and traveled for a year from India to Australia.
It transformed me but not completely. I returned to Switzerland, still to the Credit Suisse, but quickly realized that I should better resign and really change my life.
I worked for 4 years at Globetrotter Travel Service, a travel agency specialized in individual travelers. I loved my job and the people I worked with. Another good thing was that we had 3 months vacation per year. I made many trips, excursions, trekking and also my first bike trip from Spain to Morocco.
One day, while I was looking at the lake of Zürich, I took another big decision which changed my life again: Go on a trip with my bicycle. I left Switzerland in September 2004.
I had many small different jobs, but above all I worked a total of 2 years as as freelance safari tour guide in Namibia.
